Craft Film Nights are Here
Winter nights are perfect for meeting up with friends and watching movies. That’s what we’ll be doing at Craft Film Nights!
Hang out with other craft nerds and watch films about traditional craft and traditional people. Doors open at 6:30pm for social time before the screening, BYO beverage and we’ll provide the popcorn. Please let us know you are coming by sending us an email!

Barn the Spoon & Jarrod Dahl at Woodspirit School in 2023
We have some exciting news to share. As part of Barn’s visit from the UK to the US this coming Spring, 2023 he’ll be teaching a workshop at Woodspirit School in Ashland, WI. Actually we’ll be teaching it together.
We’re calling it a Spoon Carving Masterclass and the class will happen March 31-April 2, 2023.
The Stairway to Craft—Open House on August 19
It’s been busy since the last post two months ago—building stairs, installing pine floors, cabinets, a garage door and the 2nd floor bathroom, weaving willow fences, planting cotton, and harvesting flax, painting walls, and starting on Jarrod’s workshop move-in—all this on top of teaching some great classes, connecting with the local community at potluck craft nights, and hosting some informative Zoom interviews and demonstrations.
