Registration Details for Woodspirit School in Ashland, WI

Hello Everyone,

We hope you are keeping warm wherever you are. We have some snow dusting the ground here and a few days of pretty chilly weather. All the better to cozy up at home and plan wonderful things for the year to come.

I just wanted to explain a few things about registration for those of you planning to come for a workshop this year.

Registration

Registration opens January 1, 2025 (This means that registration literally opens after the stroke of midnight New Year’s Eve Central Time.) Spaces in workshops are limited, so if you want a spot, be sure to register early. But be aware of our cancellation policy which is fairly strict—especially for special instructors.

Waitlists

We use waitlists to gauge interestin classes before they go live. When you sign up for the waitlist, you immediately get emailed when the class opens for registration, but registration is still first come first served, so you are not guaranteed a spot in the class until you complete registration. You can sign up now for the waitlist on courses you are interested in.

Returning Students Discount Code

We really love seeing students who return for multiple classes. If you have taken a course with us before, we want to thank you by giving you $25 off your registration before April 1. This is for one time use and you need to register before April 1. We will send out the coupon code in a separate email, so keep your eyes peeled.

Craft Night Potlucks—Meet Our Instructors

Families, travel companions, friends and locals—come to Woodspirit School the evening before a workshop where you are invited to meet our instructors and watch a demonstration or presentation of their craft and work. Share some good food, socialize with others and learn about the different craftspeople who teach at our school.

We provide the soup, wooden plates, spoons, and bowls. We ask you to bring a tasty side dish and your preferred beverage. RSVP by text is required.

Signing up for text reminders is the best way to RSVP for one of these Craft Nights.

Work Study Opportunities

If you live nearby, have some free time and can do a variety of manual labor jobs, we are offering limited work-study opportunities for spots in select classes. Contact us here for more information.
